U.S. DOT Federal Transit Administration.
TRA has worked very closely with the Federal Transit Administration
(FTA) in providing technical assistance to transit agencies in the areas
of safety and security. TRA assisted
the FTA in developing bus safety guidelines, in
preparing emergency drill guidelines for the transit industry,
and in providing hands-on security technical
assistance for the largest transit agencies throughout the
United States. TRA is currently working with
the FTA and the American Public Transportation
Association in developing web-based emergency drills.

Los Angeles Metro.
Metro utilizes TRA's safety software to track
and analyze safety data including,
incidents, corrective actions, observations,
safety inspections, and hazards. Utilizing
touch screen kiosks, more than 8,000
employees, 24 hours a day, seven days a
week, access the system to enter information
regarding their incidents. By implementing
this new technology, MTA is experiencing
improvements in the safety and security of
its employees, contractors and passengers,
in a cost effective manner.
