Releases free OSHA Guidance Document (12/08) TRA is
pleased to announce a free guidance document on completing OSHA logs with
IndustrySafe Safety Management Software. This easy to use guidance document
highlights the key features of OSHA reporting that are available with the
IndustrySafe safety software system. The IndustrySafe OSHA Guidance
Document describes the way in which IndustrySafe Safety Software handles
the nuances of OSHA reporting that may occur (especially with multiple OSHA
reportable injuries and multiple locations). The IndustrySafe OSHA guidance
document also provides detail on the IndustrySafe calculation of Days Away
Restricted Transfer (DART) and Total Case Incident (TCIR) rates. TCIR and DART
rates are used by organizations to compare their injury and illness rates over
time and to organizations in similar industries
