Daniel T. Hauber specializes in TRA’s transportation safety, security, operations, and maintenance consulting projects, and has been part of the TRA team since 1997. Dan’s work at TRA focuses on operating and maintenance procedures, business process assessments, vehicle and infrastructure condition assessments, and operations and maintenance planning and procurements. He also conducts and supports TRA projects related to security assessments and emergency preparedness drills, especially as they relate to operations and maintenance issues. In his projects, Dan strives to combine both practical field experience and accepted business analysis practices. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Urban Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Temple University. He also has earned Master’s Certificates from Villanova University in Project Management and Advanced Project Management, and the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
Dan grew up riding local subway and rail lines in Philadelphia and surrounding towns, and has always had a strong interest in how transportation and cities shape each other. Dan enjoys watching the Phillies, riding his bicycle, and spending time with his partner and with his dogs.
