Jennifer A. Kane works on the Pennsylvania Rail Transit Safety Review Program and Minnesota Rail Safety Oversight Program, among other State Safety Oversight projects nationwide. She brings a wealth of experience in public administration, having worked for over five years in the U.S. Congress. While tending to infrastructure-related policies and projects, Jenny developed a passion for transportation. After leaving the Hill, she entered graduate school and spent a year at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), Chicago’s metropolitan planning organization. Jenny holds a Master of Urban Planning and Policy (MUPP) degree with a concentration in transportation from University of Illinois-Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political and Social Thought from The University of Virginia.
A Chester County, PA native, Jenny has ridden Amtrak cross-country several times and backpacked through Europe by rail. She has a fanatical love for bike-share systems and is also known to play ice hockey and run half-marathons.
