Kenneth Korach has been responsible for the company’s strategy, direction and overall service offering since TRA's inception. He has over 40 years’ experience in transport management, safety and performance assessments, and regulatory analysis.

Brenda Korach serves as TRA’s General Counsel. She has over 30 years of experience in corporate law, contracts, and intellectual property.

Senior Consultant

Chiare Vernon leverages her expertise in transit security, safety, operations, and maintenance to provide technical, programmatic, and analytic input. She assists in state safety oversight program management of rail transit agencies.

APRIL DORCAK

Managing Engineer

April Dorcak is an industrial engineer with fifteen years of experience with project coordination and oversight, data analysis, and process improvement. She currently supports state safety oversight activities for Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Steve’s background and expertise is rail and bus safety and security, specializing in state and federal regulation oversight, operational safety, roadway worker protection, and security and emergency preparedness.

Pamela McCombe brings over 35 years to TRA managing a variety of complex bus and rail projects while achieving the highest degree of technical excellence that addresses the client’s needs.

Vice President

Daniel Hauber specializes in transportation safety, security, operations, and maintenance consulting projects. He focuses on operating and maintenance procedures and planning, as well as business process and maintenance condition assessments.

Project Analyist

Annie Mrazik supports numerous state safety oversight, emergency preparedness, and homeland security projects, providing reviews of safety and security plans, analysis of transit data reports, and readiness response assessments.

JAMES E. HILL

Chief of Police (retired)/Vice President

Chief James Hill is responsible for TRA's projects in the areas of security, emergency management, anti-terrorism, and threat vulnerability risk assessment. Jim joined TRA after completing a twenty-five year career in transportation law enforcement.

Project Analyst

Hanna Jacobs is Project Analyst who brings a planning background to TRA. Hanna works with numerous state safety oversight agencies including on-site coordination, safety audits, and program analysis.

BRIAN MOLLOT

Project Analyist

Brian Mollot plays a pivotal role in devising pragmatic solutions related to safety, security, emergency preparedness, operations, and maintenance. Before joining TRA, he coordinated transportation services for nearly 200 schools.

KATHLEEN MARTIN

Project Analyst

Kathleen Martin supports numerous state safety oversight projects. Her work includes ensuring agency compliance with state and federal requirements, investigating events, tracking training requirements, and reviewing safety plans.

Vice President

Robert Kogan has extensive experience guiding clients through a variety of technical consulting projects in transit safety, security, operations, and maintenance. He leads and implements focused and effective safety and security program activities.

SAMUEL S. KORACH

Project Manager

Samuel Korach manages transit safety and security oversight support throughout the State of Florida. Sam leads multi-disciplinary teams through internal and external audits, special assessments, regulatory inspections, and operational analyses.

Charles has coordinated on-site audits and works closely with our clients to review accident reports, agency safety documents, and documentation associated with corrective actions.

Senior Director

Christopher Kozub manages state safety oversight programs and serves as a subject matter expert on transportation operations, fire/life-safety, and security issues, with over 30 years of experience in safety, emergency response, and training.

William Matthews provides expertise to state safety oversight programs and transit agencies, conducting reviews of transit operational and maintenance safety, safety and security certification assessments, and regulatory compliance audits.

Antoinette Means manages the TRA headquarters office, coordinating internal administrative processes and office operations.

Olivia Marcus supports numerous state safety oversight projects. She works to ensure that rail transit agencies comply with federal and state legislation through data analysis, on-site reviews, and assisting in audits.

Director, Systems Safety Engineering

Bon Provenzano supports clients with expertise in signaling, communications, and train control systems. He has extensive Quality and Systems Assurance experience in rail project delivery, transit operations and maintenance, and Systems Safety.

Contracts Administrator

Patty Paxson leads internal business processes, including contract management, finance, insurance, and project coordination. She ensures organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety through the implementation of proven workflow procedures.

GEORGE R. SABOL

Senior Director, Security and Emergency Preparedness

George Sabol focuses on security and emergency preparedness projects at TRA, including threat and vulnerability assessments, interoperable communications planning, and developing and executing drills and exercises in compliance with DHS standards.

Mark Jansen brings international expertise in transportation management and operations. He works with clients across multiple states, developing relationships to improve internal processes, agency safety plans and state safety oversight reporting.

Elise Brosnan supports both state safety oversight and rail transit agencies, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements and providing organizational and safety data analytics and visualization.

Nia Simmonds is a Project Analyst who brings an engineering background to TRA's state safety oversight and operations and management projects, including PennDOT and the City of Cincinnati.

JOSHU SHIH

Project Manager

Joshu Shih has expertise in transit operations, safety, and security, working with government and public transportation agencies on operations, rule compliance, and training; accident/incident investigation; and corrective action plan support.

ERIK LARSON

Senior Consultant

Erik Larson supports TRA’s safety management, rail and bus transit operations and maintenance program, emergency management, training development and delivery, safety audits, and oversight programs.

Christopher Wallgren is a transportation operations expert, leading multidisciplinary teams in conducting comprehensive reviews of operations, maintenance, safety, and security & emergency management, and developing management plans for these areas.

John Weisgerber is a licensed engineer with extensive experience in rail, including inspecting and testing transit infrastructure. He provides technical expertise for state safety oversight programs, including audits of vehicle maintenance programs.

JAMES S. YOUNG

Project Manager

James Young helps transit agencies and state governments implement and improve safety plans and procedures, rule compliance audits, and accident investigations. He manages the execution of safety reviews for new systems prior to and during operation.
