2019 was another year of growth for TRA, as we witnessed the transformation of our headquarters space at 1608 Walnut Street, added five new staff members to our roster, and expanded our client support to new locations and types of work. As a way to support transit agencies around the country in their PTASP development process, TRA developed and hosted two webinars on how to create a PTASP, as well as the basic principles of SMS and performing a gap analysis to determine current abilities and capacity for carrying out safety requirements of the new regulation. This webinar is posted to TRA’s YouTube site, along with additional resources to guide agencies through the PTASP process.

Early in the year, TRA ushered in an entirely revamped company website, as well as creating social media profiles designed to keep our clients and industry partners up to date on the news we’re following, our project work, and new developments at TRA. Every month, articles featured in the TRA newsletter can be found on the Insights page of this website, making it easy to find articles of interest from past months, or items by topic. In addition, TRA’s physical space received a complete makeover, as our office on the 16th floor of 1608 Walnut Street was reconfigured and refurbished to accommodate our growing staff and project needs.

In addition to our external changes, TRA welcomed five new staff members to our team in 2019: Stephanie Turner, Nia Simmonds, and Dan McGurl, Project Analysts; April Dorcak, Project Engineer; and Antoinette Means, Office Manager. We are fortunate to have gained such talented, hard-working staff over the course of the year, and are looking forward to more growth to benefit our clients in 2020.
