TRA performed a complete assessment of MARTA’s Facilities maintenance functions, goals, organization, and effectiveness, examining in particular the following task areas:
- Plans, procedures, & records;
- Organization, training programs, & personnel resources;
- Maintenance implementation & field conditions; and
- Stakeholder interaction.
The project team analyzed documentation of facility maintenance, training programs, and staffing issues, and completed site visits to gain further insight into practices and procedures that may need improvement or modification.
