TRA provides onsite support for the construction and replacement of a fixed guideway APM connecting Terminal E to Satellite E as part of Miami Dade Aviation Department’s (MDAD’s) Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The CIP involves new facilities throughout MIA, including the Miami Intermodal Center for connection to Metrorail, Metrobus, and Tri-Rail. TRA also reviewed the System Safety Program Plan (SSPP) and certifiable items of the Miami-Dade International Airport (MIA) APMs. TRA continues to coordinate with MDAD and their fixed guideway contractors as part of SSO technical assistance for the district.
