TRA served a lead role as the port and transit expert on a technical assistance team assigned to evaluate the risk of terrorist events involving weapons of mass destruction.
TRA’s work involved assisting public port facilities and transit agencies in applying approved methodologies to compare relative risk in relationship to critical assets in order to prioritize needs in term of security countermeasures and emergency response capabilities.
